Whenever I hear these stories it makes me wonder how could we ever claim to be baptized with the same baptism and yet entertain the slightest thought of racism. What does a “white bible” or a “black bible” look like? The new Jerusalem has twelve gates but I am certain they are not colour coded. There are no white states or black counties in heaven. All of us will be one family; the multi-racial royal priesthood. I wish we could begin living that way from now.

Your liberal use of the word “choice” is disgusting. Do you remember when you chose the heterosexual lifestyle? And, by the way, do you know what my “lifestyle” consists of on a daily basis as a gay Adventist student? I wake up. I brush my teeth. I shower. I get dressed. I go to class. I take notes. I eat lunch. I work out. I do my homework. I go to sleep. WHAT AN ALARMINGLY SINFUL LIFE I LEAD. God help the straight person who descends to the depths of depravity I do on a daily basis. This ignorance is appalling, and I am glad I am surrounded on a daily basis by friends, the future of the Adventist church, who finally *get* it.

MDiv from Andrews? These “theological cemeteries” are where the foundation is laid with the seeds of Babylon. The last generation workers in the vineyard will be “called from the plow” and not from “higher institutions of learning.”

It is past time for true Adventists to stand in unity with Christ. Those who go to Heaven will be “saints — not sinners.”

“The Eternal God has drawn the line of distinction between the saints and the sinners, the converted and the unconverted. The two classes do not blend into each other imperceptibly, like the colors of the rainbow. They are as distinct as midday and midnight.” (CT 341)

If the SDA Church had followed the counsel of Ellen G. White regarding baptism requirements, no open sinners would be members of their churches. Confusion reins in a system that does not walk in harmony with the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

Love the person; hate the sin. The Savior says, “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent..” (Rev. 3:19)

Elijah is speaking to this last generation. “And now also the ax is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.” (Matt. 3:10)

Jesus is our ultimate example. We need to study the life of Christ and prayerfully learn the ways He handled difficult and abusive people. Jesus said, “Father forgive them they know not what they do?” 1 Cor. 10:13 has always been a blessing to me… “No temptation has taken you but what is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but with the temptation also will make a way to escape, so that you may be able to bear it.” Our heavenly Father knows how much we can handle and will never allow us to be tested beyond what we can bear. God has a plan and purpose for you… take your eyes off broken humans and keep your eyes locked on Jesus. Remember… Just because people calls themselves Adventist Christians does not mean they are real ones. A real Adventist Christian will be trying his or her best to be like Jesus.

I have tried “everything” to forgive and move on, without success…

How do we forgive someone keeping lies alive ?
How do we forgive cruelty ?
How do we forgive psychologically abusive individuals ?
How do we forgive stalkers ?
How do we forgive perverse behavior ( non sexual) ?
How do we forgive the person who does all of this to keep a brother and sister “apart” from jealousy?

How can we make our churches safe for homosexuals to attend? Many of our church members like to speak first before thinking in Sabbath School classes and during fellowship meals. If our churches are always growing with new people, we need to be ready to embrace people from all walks of life in their journey to the cross.
