Ultra liberals in the Church slam Pastor Doug

It’s another sad day in Adventism.  Pastor Doug Batchelor prayerfully worked on and delivered a sermon on Women Pastors and now he is being slammed by the ultra liberals in the Church.

The Southeastern California Conference of SDA has decided to overlook the plank in their own eye and try to remove the speck in Pastor Doug’s eye.

I don’t know about you, but I think we need more spiritual leaders like Pastor Doug to boldly proclaim the gospel news.  If more leaders would set aside their fear of losing the paycheck, benefits, and retirement, we could have a Church that is strong and unified in Christ once again.

We are Seventh-day Adventist Christians who believe in…

  • God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
  • Bible
  • Spirit of Prophecy
  • 28 Fundamental Biblical Beliefs
  • Six Literal Days of Creation
  • Second Coming
  • Etc. etc. etc.
  • Including not endorsing homosexuality and female pastors (hot topics)

What’s great about being an Adventist is that we can believe all of the above and still do so in a loving and Christ-like way (We have the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy to stand on).  If a majority of our Adventist leaders would take a stand for truth, once and for all, we could stop debating the basics and move on to the true evangelistic work God has given us to do.

Pray that our leaders will stand up for Jesus!

Pray that our true leaders will stand up and hold apostatizing leaders accountable to the wonderful, lifesaving, grace-filled truth of God!!!
