When Will We Be Free of Segregation?

Posted on July 9, 2010

Where is talk about segregation in the Church of God (Adventist Church)? Why don’t we see articles and discussions about how we are still segregated in the 21st century? Who should be responsible for uniting our world church family?
The time has come for the walls of segregation in our Church to come tumbling down. When we get to heaven, there will not be a white street, black street, Latino street, Asian street, etc. We already have a solid, theological foundation to stand on, now we need Godly leaders to allow the Holy Spirit into “all” of our Church so we can be with one accord in one place.

“And in the fulfilling of the day of Pentecost, they were all with one accord in one place.  And suddenly a sound came out of the heaven as borne along by the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.  And tongues as of fire appeared to them, being distributed; and it sat upon each of them.  And they were all filled of the Holy Spirit…” Acts 2:1-4

Please let your conference, union, and GC leaders know that you are praying for the “sin of segregation” to be taken out of our Church.  Stand up and let your voice be heard!
