Media and Ministry

We are living in a time when just about everyone in plugged into some kind of technology and social media outlet.  Our fast pace life makes it difficult to connect with the postmodern person.  Everyone is running to and fro… looking for love in all the wrong places.

When it comes to outreach, witnessing, and evangelism, connecting to those in need of Jesus can be very difficult (we make it difficult).  To effectively reach the world for Jesus, we need to do everything we can share the good news.  Once we have used our daily life and voice to share Jesus, we have only just begun using the tools He has blessed us with.  For example: Last week I shared my faith with a business man and today I gave a hitchhiker a ride and witnessed to him.  My personal ministry over the last two weeks was only a drop in the bucket when compared to the thousands and millions of people we need to reach in these end times.

The time has come for us to think outside the ministry box.

WHERE ARE THE PEOPLE?  They sure do not attend most our evangelistic meetings or visit our churches.

Here is where millions of people love to hangout…

  • Facebook: 600 Million Users
  • Twitter: 200 Million Users
  • LinkedIn: Over 100 million professionals
  • In the United States alone there are more than 219 million cell phone users.  97% of all text messages being sent are read.

Watch this video and prayerfully think of ways to reach the world for Jesus.
