Adventist Couple Discriminate

Posted on August 4, 2012

An Adventist couple and their Adventist real estate agent recently discriminated against a homosexual couple in Canada.  The homosexual couple was trying to rent an apartment from the Adventist couple and was denied because they were gay.  Not only did they break man’s law, I personally believe that they also broke God’s law.

“Master, which is the great commandment in the Law?  Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.  This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.  On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 22:36-40

When Jesus said, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” I’m pretty sure he was talking about Adventist Christians also.  Adventists need to be the most lovely and accepting people in the world.  If we are truly followers of Jesus… living as He lived while He was here on earth, then we would be “sinner magnets”  (we are all sinners in need of a Savior).

People far from God should be drawn to us because Jesus is inside us.  Meaning: If we are filled with Jesus, we would be accepting of the rejected, helping the helpless, searching for the lost, hugging the unhuggable, and feeding the hungry.

This sad story from Canada is very bad publicity for God’s end time Church [READ HERE]

QUESTION: What would you do if you had an apartment or house for rent and a homosexual couple tried to rent it from you?  Would you reject them or accept them?

OUR MISSION: Seek and save the lost.
