As some of you know, the General Conference has assembled a committee to develop a theological statement for ordination.
Members of the Theology of Ordination Study Committee (TOSC) ended its first session—held January 15-17 at a meeting site near the church’s world headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland, United States—on an optimistic note. [READ ADVENTIST REVIEW ARTICLE]

I think your chart ignores many critical texts that say everyone is equal in God’s sight.

Who said men and women are not equal? We are all equal in God’s sight. God, in His great wisdom, has given both genders specific gender roles. There’s nothing wrong with what God did, we are still equal as human beings. We need to learn how to trust God and His Word. If God’s Word says it… it is good enough for me. The Bible clearly teaches that men are called to the spiritual leaders in the home, which qualifies them for church leadership. The Bible also teaches that women can be called to be prophets. The Bible says this and that is good enough for me. Let’s prayerfully study the Bible and let God be God. Please review the chart again.

Something to think about… Even though women are intelligent beings who can do many things that men can do, this does not mean God has called them to do so. The Bible and Spirit of Prophecy clearly teach that a woman’s primary mission field is the home. If trained women are preparing healthy home-cooked meals… becoming educated in health, diet, etc. their families would be healthy and strong. Many sicknesses and diseases could be avoided if families were receiving the right nutrition. Instead following God’s directions, mothers are letting daycares raise their children and using instant and fast foods to feed their families. This does not mean women cannot seek a profession once the children are attending school full-time (if not homeschooling). Many of our families are dysfunctional… Dysfunctional families = Dysfunctional churches. We need to teach our young men how to lead in the home and church and teach our young women how to be good wives and mothers. This does not mean one gender is more important than the other… we are all equal as humans, we just have different gender roles.

I see you write a lot about gender rolls. Do you accept the difference between sex and gender?

As to whether or not you accept that there is a difference between physical sex and gender.

Your question verges on vain philosophy. Your question suggests that you can be of one gender, yet be inwardly a different gender, such as a man being a woman inside? Is this what your question implies? For if it does, your question is nothing more than vain philosophy, and worldly in its content. And the method you use is satanic in its device. I beg you, please turn away from the world, there is nothing but worthlessness and destruction. Turn back to the Lord, and follow in His footsteps CAREFULLY, lest you follow in your own way unto certain destruction.

Why does it say there were no female prophets and spiritual leaders? What about Huldah, Deborah, Noadiah, etc.?
