Ordained Pastors Rebel

March 4, 2016

Author: Ken Lytle  The Women’s Ordination controversy is alive and well.  There are a number of Adventist Church leaders and members who believe women should have the same leadership roles as men in the Adventist Church.  This belief is in direct contradiction to the Word of God.  The Bible clearly teaches men are to be […]

Women’s Ordination Update

September 22, 2012

Our Church is currently being attacked by the devil through a move to destroy God-given gender roles.  God, in His great wisdom, established specific gender roles at the fall of Adam and Eve to help create a little peace in a world quickly slipping into chaos.  As humans we are all equal, but as man […]

Union Says “No” to Women’s Ordination

May 5, 2012

When it comes to Women Ordination, only one Union has stood up for Jesus and His truth.  Southern Union Conference says no to women’s ordination. The executive committee voted Thursday to keep in harmony with the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s decision not to ordain women to the gospel ministry: “The Southern Union Conference, following the scriptural mandate of […]

Slippery Slope of Compromise – Women in Ministry

May 4, 2012

The North American Division (NAD) is quickly sliding down the slippery slope of compromise.  Instead of holding true to the working policies of the Church and teachings of the Bible, our leaders are pushing a rebellious agenda.  At the recent North American Division Women Clergy Conference on April 23-26, 2012, our Church leaders of the NAD […]

Women in Ministry vs Gender Roles

April 28, 2012

The Women in Ministry debate continues.  Members of the Pacific Union Conference are being encouraged to apply pressure to the conference leaders in favor of women ordination.  One in Christ, a grass-roots group of Seventh-day Adventists, is urging church members to write Emails to the Pacific Union Conference president and executive committee members in support […]

Ordained Women Pastors and Elders (Audio)

April 14, 2012

Here is a good recording of Pastor Doug giving an answer about women pastors and elders.  It is imperative that we be students of the Bible who are willing to accept the whole truth and nothing but the truth.  Let us continue to ask God to give us wisdom to understand the truths He has already […]

Mid-America Union Rebels Against God and His Church

March 10, 2012

The spiritual leaders at the Mid-America Union recently voted to allow women to be ordained as ministers.  This vote goes against what God has taught in His Word and the world-wide Church vote not to ordain women as ministers. The Word of God predicted that this type of rebellion would take place in the last days… […]

Adventist Abortion

February 9, 2011

What would you think if the NYC 9/11 tragedy were to happen every single day?  It was said that about 4000 people died when the two airliners slammed into the Twin Towers.     Chew on this… 4000 times a day… 167 times an hour… 2.75 times a minute… every 22 seconds… someone in America dies from […]

Women Ordination Pushed on a Conference

June 16, 2010

A female pastor in an un-named Adventist conference in the North American Division is about to be ordained/commissioned. Naming the conference could jeopardize my pastoral employment. The lay-people have communicated their displeasure of the conference hiring a female pastor at the last constituency meeting and were told there would be a future venue to discuss this subject. We are now preparing to ordain/commission the female pastor and the discussion never took place...

All Because of Money – Women Ordination and Commissioning

June 4, 2010

I just finished reading an article that Mervyn Maxwell wrote in 1998 about the history of women ordination and commissioning.  It is a sad story.  It is amazing to see how quickly a few powerful people to take a belief that is grounded in the Word of God and twist it… making it into something political.  We […]
